Here I’ll track and present all campaign spending for full transparency. Some personal incidentals (meals, etc.) I won’t bother tracking at all. So far it’s well below the $5000 FEC threshold. See also my FEC filings.
To give some sense, here are a few items so far:
- $1740 fee to run (1% of congressional salary).
- $6 for a couple of clipboards to gather the 40 nomination signatures.
- $160 for a really nice laminated wall map of Northern California.
- $200-$400 estimate for business cards.
- $144 for a year of Vimeo video hosting.
