What’s New May 13
Check out my new “Rigged Districts” first video.
Related simplifications and refocusing coming this week.
My interview with Tommy Miles of KQNY 91.9 FM in Quincy will continue airing until election day, and it’s still my best yet, take a listen.
My “Primary” Message
Got a minute? Vote for me in the Primary
(it just takes a minute)

Got a minute?
Vote for me in the Primary
(it just takes a minute)

Who am I?
I’m a recently retired (April 17 this year) Software Architect and Engineer. Born and raised in Northern California, I’ve been non-partisan all my adult life. Seeing the partisan divide worsen each decade inspired me to run for Congress. Get to know me and see that — with your help — I can and will make a positive difference in how We The People govern ourselves.
Why should you care?
If you like the way Washington operates, and just want to “take back our country” (from one party to the other to the other to the other and on and on) then you should not care about my campaign. If, however, you are fed up with partisan dysfunction, then help me shine a light on the many structural flaws. Together we can begin to heal the divide and move towards the Equal Representation on which this country was founded.
Did you vote No on Proposition 50?
Vote No again on June 2.
! PUBLIC NOTICE !
There will be 2 District Ones on the June 2 ballot.
(For Butte, Glenn, Lassen, and Tehama counties.)
I’m opposed to
Rigged Districts.
We can’t eliminate gerrymandering overnight,
but we can go around this rigged district
right now.
Let’s give everyone in our district a voice.
That’s what I’m about.
My cause:
Equal Representation
The Constitution proclaims it,
but we don’t yet have it.
I believe in:
Solutions not Slogans
Process not Platitudes
Representatives who represent all of us
Taking a swing at decency…
My campaign in a nutshell:
If I connect with enough voters, I’ll win.
If I don’t, I won’t.
It’s really that simple.
Please explore my site to see if we connect.
If we do — get involved.
Thank you.
To the voters of the New District 1. If you are…
Republican (26%) …
I can win in November and be your “unwhippable” (and unflappable) non-partisan representative — but only if you help put me in the Top Two in this June 2 primary. A Republican candidate in November will not be able to overcome the 10-point Democrat advantage — in short, Gerrymandering Works. As a non-partisan, I can draw votes that a Republican simply cannot in this newly formed District 1.
No Party Preference (16%) …
I myself have been “NPP” for about 40 years. (They used to call it Decline to State which I found somewhat annoying.) Most of you lean one way or another (so say the polls) but I’m hoping most of you also would welcome a clear voice in Congress free from the dominant party machinery.
Unregistered (17%) …
You could easily swing both the primary and general elections — if you believed it was worth bothering to register and vote. I’m here to tell you: It is worth it! The system we have is undeniably rigged to favor the two major parties, but voting for me can and will make a huge difference. So please do register, and vote on June 2!
American Independent (4.2%), Libertarian (1.1%), Green (0.6%), Peace and Freedom (0.5%) …
If you lean Republican, see above. If you lean Democrat, consider if any Democrat candidate will take you seriously, give you a voice and a seat at the table. I will, explicitly, as members of my Council.
Democrat (34%) …
I’m guessing most of you would like a loyal Democrat to help ensure the Democratic Party takes control of the House, to push back against Trump’s agenda and so forth. I cannot offer you all of that, but I can promise to push back against GOP extremes and will never be a rubber stamp for the administration.

Be sure to also check out my fellow non-partisan candidate, Tim Kelly. We’ve made a pact, for the good of the district.
